Have you ever given any thought to getting your ductwork cleaned?

Chances are your duct work has never been cleaned!

This means that not only is there STILL all that construction dust, dirt, and debris in your ductwork, but also all the pollutants that have attached themselves to it in the meantime.

This buildup can be a growing ground for mold and other allergens.

Attention: New Construction Home Owners!

*When you bought your home, it was cleaned top to bottom, but what about your ductwork.

*Chances are your ductwork is coated with a thick layer of construction dust and debris such as sawdust, drywall dust, insulation, screws, nails, cigarette butts, and many other miscellaneous items that can fall in there during construction.

*This debris makes it nearly impossible to keep up with dusting and also creates a growing ground for mold and other allergens.

The Process

Our company utilizes the push/pull cleaning technique. We use compressed air and physical agitation to break debris free and push it through the ductwork while a powerful vacuum downstream pulls the loosened material through and out of the system, and out of the house to an exterior collection unit.

This is accomplished by hooking up an 8" suction hose to your ductwork to provide a constant, powerful vacuum on the system. We then start with the farthest branch run from the vacuum and work to the closest using a combination of compressed air and physical agitation. After all the branch runs have been cleaned, the main trunk lines are cleaned in the same manner, working from the furthest point back to the suction line.

We prefer this method for several reasons. First, we get a lot more suction power from a gas powered vacuum than any system that can be carried into a house. Second, there is no need to carry large cumbersome equipment into the house, possibly scrapping up walls or tearing up the floor. And third, this system carries all the dust, dirt, and contaminates straight out of the house so there is no chance of them escaping back into your home.
